Researched since the 1960s, PBM saw official recognition in 2018 (Walt Congress), which has led to the publication of 5,000 scientific studies worldwide.  

 

Studies have shown that skin cells have the ability to absorb red light with a wavelength of 635 nm and convert it into energy, which leads to a cascade of beneficial cellular reactions:

With skin ageing and the harmful effects of the environment (sun, pollution) cells lose their elasticity, and wrinkles appear.

Stretch marks are the result of breakage of the skin's supporting tissues

Thanks to its effect on cell regeneration and collagen production, photobiomodulation helps repair and improve the appearance of skin tissues, reducing the visibility of stretch marks.

Orange peel skin, or cellulite, can be located on the hips, stomach, saddlebags, thighs, and knees.

The emission of LED light stimulates microcirculation and promotes lymphatic drainage, thus helping to reduce cellulite.

Are LED beauty procedures safe?

Yes, they are clinically tested & dermatologically approved.  

 

Each of Lucibel.le products has been developed in association with Dr Michelle Pelletier of the European LED Beauty Association and tested for safety and efficacy by Gredeco - the leading dermatology & cosmetology research lab in Europe.

How often should I use the mask?

Exact use patterns will depend on the OVE model, target skin area and the desired outcome.

Anti-Ageing:

OVE Mask:

2 sessions per week, spaced 72 hours and 12 minutes apart, for the entire face.

 

OVE Mini:

Three sessions per week, spaced 48 hours apart, lasting 6 minutes per each zone (6 min right cheek, 6 min left cheek, 6 min front)

Hair-Growth:

OVE Mini:

Three sessions per week, spaced 48 hours apart, lasting 7 minutes.

 

OVE Hair:

3 sessions of 12 minutes per week.

Are there any negative consequences for using the OVE 

Mask longer or more often than recommended?

No – using our OVE products longer or more frequently than recommended has no known negative effects.  However, it will not yield any additional benefits either.

How quickly will I see the results?

The immediate impact on skin wellness normally appears 24 hours after  the session - that's the time required  by the cells to absorb the light.

 

According to the clinical studies carried out by Gredeco, sustained anti-aging results are achieved over 3 months,  while skin density and pore diameter improvements are visible after 1 month.  

 

The achieved results persist for an average of 2 months after discontinuing the treatment. However, benefits of  LED therapy accumulate over time, so we advise to continue regular weekly sessions to boost and maintain  skin & hair wellness.
